From cameras to considered action

Good monitoring starts with a clear agreement.

Your cameras provide the view. Your instructions define the priorities. NETEX brings human review, agreed escalation and a record of relevant observations.

Illustrative four-step workflow: compatibility review, agreed setup, human monitoring, and reporting.

The illustrated process, in plain language

From compatibility to owner visibility.

  1. 01

    Compatibility review

Review the existing camera system and confirm whether it can support the monitoring requirement.

  2. 02

    Agreed setup

Define selected cameras, monitoring hours, coverage and escalation instructions.

  3. 03

    Human monitoring

Operators review the available live or recorded views within the agreed procedures and service scope.

  4. 04

    Incident reporting

Document relevant observations and agreed actions so the owner can review the information and follow-up.

Compatibility before commitment

Keep your existing system, if it’s a fit.

Compatibility is a review, not a promise based on a brand name. NETEX needs a suitable, authorized way to access your selected camera views and enough image detail to carry out the agreed task.

  • Identify the camera, NVR/DVR or platform and its supported remote-access options.
  • Review the actual view at relevant times, including night lighting and busy periods.
  • Check internet stability, viewing permissions and timestamp alignment.
  • Document blind spots, unavailable views and the response to a lost connection.

No camera credentials or footage are needed in the initial enquiry. Access should be arranged separately through an agreed secure onboarding process.

Before monitoring begins

Agree what happens when something needs attention.

A usable escalation plan tells the operator what to observe, which contact to try and how to record the next step.

01

Views & hours

Name the selected cameras, zones, time zone and monitoring windows. Record exclusions and the limits of what each view can show.

02

Contacts & authority

Confirm the primary and backup recipients, the situations they should be contacted about and the action NETEX is authorized to take.

03

Checks & records

Test the agreed access and communication path before activation. Define report content, recipients and how open questions are followed up.

The site owner still has a role.Keep equipment, internet and lighting working; keep contacts and instructions current; and make sure the access and monitoring scope are authorized.
Common questions

A few things worth knowing.

Should I send camera passwords with my enquiry?

No. Do not send passwords, access codes or footage through the initial enquiry or a general contact message. NETEX should agree a suitable secure access process after the scope and authority are confirmed.

What happens if a camera disconnects?

An unavailable feed cannot be reviewed. Agree how observed outages should be reported and what follow-up is expected. Camera-health observations are not a guarantee that every fault or outage will be detected.

Does this include installation or a new customer portal?

This website describes remote monitoring. Equipment installation and a functioning customer portal are not included by implication. The interfaces shown on this site are labelled demonstrations.
